The Asia Pacific International Arbitration Court visited Gaopeng Beijing Headquarters for discussions and exchanges

On December 5, 2024, Pan Lingji, Chief Representative of the Asia Pacific International Arbitration Court (APIAC) in Southeast Asia and Head of the Japan Office, visited Gaopeng Law Firm for discussions and exchanges.
Partners of Gaopeng Law Firm, including Jiang Liyong, Zhang Liqiong, Chen Shu, Wang Haiyang, Fu Xuewei, Wu Ailing, Sun Jiaqi, Cui Yanan, Chen Wenying, Li Meng, Peng Meiyang, and young lawyer Sun Xue, participated in this exchange. The symposium was chaired by Lawyer Li Wanqi.
During the exchange session of the symposium, Mr. Pan Lingji introduced the basic situation of APIAC to the lawyers of Gaopeng Law Firm, with the theme of "The Difficulties and Breakthroughs of Chinese Lawyers in International Arbitration". He introduced APIAC's multilingual arbitration services, fee methods and other characteristics, and combined with the practical experience of Southeast Asia, especially Singapore, Indonesia and other regions, provided new ideas on how Chinese lawyers can leverage their advantages in international arbitration. Mr. Dai Jiajie introduced the differences in arbitration rules and specific cases of various arbitration institutions under the theme of "Arbitration and Legal Services of Lawyers".
All attending lawyers actively participated in the discussion and shared their practical experience in handling foreign-related arbitration cases. Both parties jointly discussed the pain points and difficulties encountered by enterprises and lawyers in the process of going abroad. After this exchange activity, both parties hope to enhance their understanding and further communicate and exchange on the positive role played by international arbitration institutions in helping Chinese enterprises and lawyers go abroad.
