On the afternoon of February 27, 2024, Jeff Leung, the founding partner of Malaysia's Leung Pan Hwang Law Firm, visited and exchanged ideas with Gao Peng Law Firm ("Gao Peng Beijing") in Beijing, and held a symposium on relevant cooperation matters. Lawyers Liang Bailin, including Gao Peng, the runner up lawyer in Beijing, Jiang Liyong, Hu Jie, Li Xiaojuan, Zhou Xueteng, Wu Ailing, Li Zongjiang, and Song Ling, warmly welcomed visitors.

Lawyer Gao Peng, representing the runner up, warmly welcomed Lawyer Liang's visit to Beijing and introduced Gao Peng's development history, management mechanism, and operational status. Lawyer Liang Bailin expressed gratitude to Gao Peng for his warm reception in Beijing and provided a detailed introduction to the specific situation of Liang Panhuang Law Firm. Both sides jointly discussed the similarities and differences in the legal markets of Malaysia and China, and had in-depth exchanges on potential areas of cooperation in the future, such as cross-border mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, litigation and arbitration, labor, and intellectual property. Both sides unanimously expressed their hope to actively strengthen exchanges and cooperation in legal affairs between the two regions in the future, and achieve common development.
