Lawyer Fan Chao graduated from China University of Politics & Law (CUPL), majoring in Economic Law, and received the Bachelor’s Degree in Law. Now he is attending the course for the master’s degree in Economic Law of Civil and Commerce Law School of CUPL.

He is a member of Beijing Lawyer association and All China Lawyers association.

Lawyer Fan Chao graduated from China University of Political Science and Law in July 1996 and joined the Communist Party of China during his college years. From 1996 to 1998, he was responsible for legal affairs of New World Development Company Limited’s investment project in Beijing and was in charge of the management of hotels and shopping malls in Beijing New World Center.

After attaining the attorney practice qualification in 1998, Lawyer Fan has been working as a lawyer since 1999. He was mainly occupied in litigation and non-litigation cases in real estate, financial securities, futures, intellectual property, international trade, contract negotiation and enterprise alteration, mergers and acquisitions, asset restructuring and listed companies. He dealt with many special legal affairs as an agent for large state-owned companies, listed companies and foreign-funded companies. He handled a large number of economic lawsuits and civil actions, covering various areas such as real estate, securities, finance, futures and intellectual property. Lawyer Fan also has rich experience in delivering special legal services for such domains as international trade, disputes in economic contracts, enterprise change, mergers and acquisitions, and asset restructuring.
   From January 2003 to the end of 2008, Lawyer Fan served as a legal aid lawyer at Disabled Persons’ Federation in Chaoyang District of Beijing.

He offered donations to students and schools in Qinghai Province, Tibet and Liangshan of Sichuan Province and to social charities. In the 2008 Wenchuan Earthquake, he offered help to the disaster areas in a variety of ways including donations.

In June 2007, Lawyer Fan was honored as Outstanding Member of Communist Party by the Party Committee of Justice of Bureau in Dongcheng District of Beijing.

In 2013, Lawyer Fan was awarded as Outstanding Lawyer in Chaoyang District of Beijing.
